Please be aware that all customers are liable for any loss, theft or damage to the machines and equipment during the period of hire, and we strongly advise that you take out an insurance policy to cover the entire hire period. For information about the level of cover needed for each individual machine, please contact us.
In addition to these terms, our terms of payment are set out below:
All hire is to be paid upfront at the time of booking, by credit or debit card. Our systems securely retain credit or debit card details for the duration of the hire period as security against items billed post-hire such as diesel and consumables plus any damage caused to machinery.
We will debit your card with the amount of any additional charges once the hire period ends, and then the card details will be securely destroyed.
Please note that the only exception to this is our credit account customers, who should refer to the terms and conditions of their credit account.
Refunds will only be given at the discretion of the management, and only in the event of hire being cancelled with at least 48 hours notice.
If you cancel a hire with less than 48 hours notice, any refund will be at the discretion of the management.
Please note that machines and/or equipment cannot be reserved without payment upfront (unless you have a credit account). Credit account customers should also note our additional terms and conditions for credit management, which are posted by recorded delivery at the time we accept you as a credit customer.
All customers are required to sign and accept our terms and conditions of hire prior to any hire commencing.
